The first version of the Parts Detect Mobile App is designed for Auto Mechanics and Auto Care Professionals that have existing accounts with vendors. The public version, which will allow Do-It-Yourselfer’s to search for parts, is still in the works and will be available soon!
The list of vendors will depend on your location and the accounts you have with vendors nearby. The list as it stands will continue to grow month by month as we get more vendor partners. If you have a particular vendor you’d like us to add to the list, please email the name and location of that vendor. We will reach out to them and see if we can accommodate adding their inventory to your local search.
The Parts Detect Mobile App offers users the ability to search, filter and order auto parts near you. Once you’ve found the part you’d like to order, select the quantity you’d like, then select the "Order" button. It will be processed by your vendor and charged directly to your account. Parts Detect does not handle any funds or funding transactions, it is based upon the accounts your auto care facility has in place with your preferred auto parts vendors.
Typically you can find the account information you need on the jobber sheets. Other places to look would be the selected vendor’s website in the Account Management page. Lastly, if you aren’t sure where else to look please contact your vendor to get your account information.
